Visit the Sunshine Coast, Queensland

The sunshine Coast is a fabulous jewel in South East Queensland's tourism crown.

You can avoid the crowds and hustle of other tourist centres at the Sunshine Coast. Take one look at the sea from the Mooloolaba Spit and you will know why they called it the "Pacific" Ocean.

Take your time and enjoy peaceful, pristine beaches, then discover the green hinterland and attractions beyond our white, sandy shore.

Many attractions are within walking distance from the Mooloolaba Marina, including Mooloolaba's world famous marine attraction, Underwater World and of course the magnificent Mooloolaba Beach.

Just 15 minutes away is the popular town of Buderim, with old style clothing shops and cafes. Be sure to visit the Buderim Falls in the Buderim Forest.

What visit to the Sunshine Coast of Queensland would be complete without a trip to Steve Irwin's Australia Zoo! While you are berthed at the Mooloolaba Marina, take a ride up into the Blackall Range, a glorious 40 minute ride up into the lush hinterland of the Sunshine Coast. Visit the Bohemian villages Montville and Maleny, enjoying a barrista's coffee overlooking the entire Sunshine Coast. Venture North to cosmopolitan Noosa for a little shopping and whatever you do, just don't miss the Markets at Eumundi!
